The resonance and radiation behavior of conformal fractal microstrip antennas are investigated in this paper. Among the conformal fractal antennas, a Sierpinski gasket mounted on a cylinder is considered. The influence of its geometrical parameters on the radiation characteristics is revealed. The simulation results show that the resonant frequency is relative to the iteration stage, the relative permittivity of the substrate and the flare angle of the patch, while it is not sensitive to the variation of the cylindrical radius.
