This work introduces an autonomous photovoltaic system, alternative to traditional systems, composed of a configuration with distributed DC-DC energy processing and maximum power point tracking, and presents a comparison of the generated energy by the input stages of a centralized autonomous system and by the proposed system. Experimental results show that the proposed system can present an increase of 16% on the generated energy at the DC bus, in situations in which one or more photovoltaic panels are shaded, damaged or aged.
