A method to reduce field leakage from the 45-degree-angle shells by adding passive magnetic shells is investigated. Two desirable designs of passive magnetic shells are presented. Fluxgate magnetometer is used to measure magnetic field leakage on the axis of the cylinder. The result leads to an optimum design of CFRP/magnetic shell/CFRP composited magnetic shields.
