A MIMO-PCC-OFDM system is proposed for high-speed transmission. Polynomial cancellation coding orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (PCC-OFDM) technique is used in the space division multiplexing (SDM) system with multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO). MIMO-PCC-OFDM inherits the characteristics of PCC-OFDM: reducing the sensitivity to carrier frequency offset and Doppler spread, having lower intercarrier interference (ICI) and intersymbol interference (ISI), requiring no cyclic prefix (CP) or guard interval (GI) in the practical system. A channel estimation algorithm is proposed for MIMO-PCC-OFDM with optimal training symbols which improve the estimation accuracy. The MMSE detection is used to demultiplex the spatial multiplexed signals. Simulation results show about 3-7 dB SNR improvement of the MIMO-PCC-OFDM system compared with a typical MIMO-OFDM system in a multipath fading channel with carrier frequency offset
