The time-domain 64DAPSK-OFDM is proposed for DRM (digital radio mondiale), which offers a low-complexity reception modulation scheme. In this paper first, the AM channel model below 30 MHz is described; the modulation, demodulation and theoretical BER performance of 64DAPSK-OFDM are investigated in AWGN channel, next. Finally, through simulation results, a performance comparison between 64DAPSK-OFDM and 64QAM-OFDM system for DRM is described in the DRM channels. Results show that performance of the new low-complexity reception modulation scheme is satisfying and indicates it can be a feasible approach to further decrease the complexity of DRM systems
