With the rapid proliferation of Internet technologies, accessing and operating the engineering instruments remotely is fast becoming a reality. This paper proposes a new web-based remote experiment system controlled by telerobot in National University of Singapore. The system includes a queuing system for access control and an intuitive user interface. Queuing System administrates and controls the access of telerobot system based on the pre-defined access rules such as login time, personal identity, and IP address. Through web-based user interface, Internet user can control the robot arm to operate the experiment instruments anytime anywhere. With two video feedbacks, remote users can monitor the robot operation as well as record the experiment results. A web-based frequency modulation experiment system controlled by telerobot has been set up and will be launch for the undergraduate soon.
