We studied femtosecond laser-induced desorption of CO from Ru(0001) using intense near-infrared and visible femtosecond laser pulses. We report molecular CO and NO adsorption structures on Pd(100) single crystal surfaces under sub-Torr pressure conditions at room temperature.
