Peritoneal Carcinomatosis (PC) is one of the final stages of abdominal cancers. Nowadays Cytoreductive Surgery followed by Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) proves to be a promising therapeutic solution. The authors are developing an HIPE Cequipment and this paper presentsan advanced cytostatic solution temperature control structure. A cascade plus feed-forward control structure is proposed in order to compensate the major temperature disturbances: the temperature loss due to the heat exchange between the solution and the environment, and the heat exchange between the cytostatic solution circulated inside the abdominal cavity and the human body. The assessment of the results is made via computer simulation.
