We have succeeded to prepare La 1−x OFeP (0≤x≤0.2) by sintering La, FeO and P powders in a vacuum at 1373K for 192h. This is a first report of hole doped superconductivity without introducing fifth elements in the LnOFePn (Ln: rare earths; Pn: pnictogen elements). The lattice constants a and c are 0.3961 and 0.8506nm, respectively for x=0, and they are almost independent of x. However, the superconducting transition temperature Tc increases with x and has a maximum value of 7K at x=0.10 and then decreases. This indicates that the hole concentration is optimum for x=0.10 and becomes over doping above x=0.10. The lower and upper critical magnetic fields Hc1 and Hc2 are 2×102 and 1.7×104Oe, respectively, for x=0.10, which are larger than those of LaOFeP and LaO 1−x F x FeP.
