The shielding effect of molecular deposition (MD) film was studied by cyclic voltammetry. Many factors influencing the formation and stability of film were considered and optimal conditions for well-defined MD film onto gold electrode was obtained. The experimental results confirmed the orientated packing of molecular deposition film based on a process of self-assembly.
