KERNEL code is based on the SPH-method (Smoothed Particles Hydrodynamics) and assigned to obtain prompt two- and three-dimensional solutions of perforation and damage of multilayered and multisheet bumpers under high- and hypervelocity impact of the single particles. Numerical investigation of rod particles orientation influence on penetration effect was performed. The final depth of crater was chosen as measure of effectiveness, its dependence on attack angle and rod elongation is presented.
