Axial experiment at low temperature (AXEL) experiment uses multiple-element paramagnetic sensors coupled to DC SQUIDs to detect the interactions from the spin-coupling sources. To enhance the sensitivity of detecting these forces, we optimize the geometric arrangement of paramagnetic sensors and sources for each specific interaction to be searched for. In this paper, we perform geometric optimization of source and detector configurations for the axion-like interactions. The sensitivity for g s g p / c can reach 6.3x10 - 3 3 for λ=1mm and <1.4x10 - 3 4 for λ>10mm. When realized, this gives 11-order improvement at λ=1mm and 5-order improvement at λ>10mm.
