Ils sont parfois appelés les “mab”, ce qui vient de l’anglais monoclonal anti-bodies. Aujourd’hui, il existe des anticorps murins, chimériques, humanisés et humains destinés à traiter de nombreuses pathologies.
The nomenclature of monoclonal antibodies (or mAbs) is complex yet rational and predictable thanks to the system of substems. Currently, murine, chimeric, humanised and human antibodies are used to treat a variety of different pathologies.
