Structural and electrical properties of Lanthanum substituted Strontium Bismuth Titanate SrBi4−xLaxTi4O15 (0≤x≤0.1) ceramics have been investigated. The X-ray diffraction pattern and Raman spectra indicate that all the compositions are of single phase. A decrement in the grain size is observed with La-content. The temperature dependent dielectric study shows decrease in dielectric constant and increases in the diffuseness with the increase in Lanthanum substitution. The ferroelectric and piezoelectric properties enhance with an increase in Lanthanum concentration.
