Algorithms for solving the nonlinear L p (1<p<~) problem are considered. The algorithms are also constructed for the L 1 problem as the extreme case of the L p problem. Numerical results are reported for some well-known examples, which show that the algorithms are efficient. Numerical comparisons are made between these algorithms and others.
