Important updates on the current JEFF-3.1 evaluated nuclear data files are presented for 204,206,207,208 Pb and 209 Bi for incident neutrons from thermal to 200MeV. In order to keep the lead and bismuth isotope evaluations up to date regarding the latest measurements and the needs of the reactor community, (1) evaluated inelastic cross-sections are adjusted to take into account high resolution GELINA data for 206,207 Pb, (2) resonance parameters are modified for 204,206,207,208 Pb and 209 Bi, and (3) covariance files are added to the evaluations in the resonance and fast neutron regions for all lead isotopes and 209 Bi. Furthermore, to complete the evaluation of the lead isotope chain, the long-lived 205 Pb is also evaluated based on averaged resonance parameters and TALYS calculations. Finally, this new evaluation is validated with shielding and criticality benchmarks.
