This paper presents numerical simulations of supersonic high-temperature jet using Large Eddy Simulation (LES). Sub-grid scale turbulence is modeled using Smagorinsky model with different Smagorinsky coefficients Cs=0.1 and Cs=0.01. Based on turbulence characteristics, noise sources and integral surfaces are determined. Acoustic characteristics predictions are performed by the Ffowcs Williams-Hawkings (FW-H) equation using the flow field provided by the 3D LES unsteady simulation. The numerical calculation results are compared with experimental data to validate the feasibility and accuracy of this numerical method.
