This study provides a psychodynamic approach of infantile hyperactivity, considering this trouble not that as a medical syndrom but as the revelation of a failure in the imaginary of the child. According to this approach, what cannot be elaborated in fantasy becomes acting out. But instead of opposing these two terms ( fantasy and acting out ), the purpose is for the authors to make a link between them, considering infantile hyperactivity precisely as the support of the elaboration of fantasy.
