Deux series de solutions solides d'hydroxyapatites et de fluorapatites calco-magnesiennes de formule generale: Ca ( 1 0 - x ) Mg x (PO 4 ) 6 X 2 , ou X=F ou OH ont ete synthetisees par precipitation en milieu ammoniacal. Les produits obtenus ont ete caracterises par spectroscopie infrarouge, diffraction des rayons X et analyse chimique. La nature des phases precipitees ainsi que la limite de substitution du calcium par le magnesium ont ete determinees. L'hydroxyapatite calco-magnesienne se forme pour un rapport atomique du magnesium Mg/(Ca+Mg ) inferieur ou egal a 0,066. Pour une teneur en magnesium plus importante la whitlockite (Ca 1 8 Mg 2 H 2 (PO 4 ) 1 4 ) et un phosphate double de magnesium-ammonium hydrate (MgPO 4 NH 4 .H 2 O) apparaissent. Les solutions solides d'apatites fluorees ont ete obtenues pures pour un taux de magnesium allant jusqu'a 0,101. Au dela de cette valeur le compose MgPO 4 NH 4 .H 2 O commence a precipiter. Les enthalpies de dissolution de ces phosphates dans l'acide nitrique 9% en masse ont ete mesurees a l'aide d'un calorimetre isoperibolique. Ces resultats combines avec ceux de la radiocristallographie, ont permis de situer la limite de substitution entre 0,066 et 0,084 pour les derives hydroxyles et entre 0,073 et 0,101 pour les derives fluores.
