FCC Co(111) films grown on glass substrate were prepared by sputtering technique. The structure and magnetic properties were studied. X-ray diffraction studies show the Co films have a FCC structure with the (111) direction perpendicular to the film plane. The vibrating sample magnetometer yields a magnetization of 1230emu/cm 3 and coercivity of 100Oe at room temperature. Ferromagnetic resonance measurements were carried out at 9.77GHz at room temperature. Spin waves were observed. The relation of resonant field H n with the mode number n obeys the so-called n 2 law. The exchange constant was determined to be A C o =3.0x10 - 6 erg/cm.
