Magnetic susceptibility [chi ], specific heat C, and electrical resistivity [rho ] have been investigated for dilute uranium alloys U x Th 1 [ m i n u s ] x Pd 2 Si 2 (x [les ] 0.07), in the temperature range down to 100 mK. With decreasing x, unusual [minus ]ln T behavior appears in [chi ] and C/T below about 6 K. A minimum resistance is observed at around 20 K indicating the presence of Kondo scattering, while a non-trivial maximum is also found at around 3.5 K.
