La chirurgie ambulatoire repose sur le principe d'un acte chirurgical effectue[acute ] chez un patient admis le matin et qui retourne a[grave ] son domicile le soir me[circ ]me. Fortement implante[acute ]e aux E[acute ]tats-Unis, cette pratique repre[acute ]sente 60% des activite[acute ]s chirurgicales, elle connai[circ ]t par ailleurs un de[acute ]veloppement diffe[acute ]rent selon les pays.En Suisse, la direction de l'ho[circ ]pital cantonal universitaire de Gene[grave ]ve s'interroge et envisage la possibilite[acute ] de de[acute ]velopper cette activite[acute ].Charge[acute ]e du dossier, mon objectif a e[acute ]te[acute ] d'organiser une unite[acute ] de chirurgie ambulatoire inte[acute ]gre[acute ]e au plateau technique de chirurgie a[grave ] l'Ho[circ ]pital cantonal avec un ame[acute ]nagement de locaux adapte[acute ] au de[acute ]veloppement de la chirurgie ambulatoire, et de pre[acute ]senter des donne[acute ]es e[acute ]conomiques chiffre[acute ]es relatives a[grave ] ce projet.
