This paper proposed a novel method that improves the effects of traditional fabrication and digital reconstruction on the Burch-type Fourier computer-generated hologram (CGH). By using the proposed approach, the problem of inseparable twin images in Burch-type CGH was solved. After the hologram was generated, a more clear reconstructed image was obtained by using a series of measures that improve the quality of hologram. The experimental result showed the feasibility of the proposed method for improving the quality of the reconstructed images in Fourier transform holograms.
