The iron-doped perovskite La 0 . 6 7 Sr 0 . 3 3 Mn 0 . 9 9 5 7 Fe 0 . 0 1 O 3 compound has been studied by X-ray diffraction, Mossbauer spectroscopy, and vibrating sample magnetometry. The single phase of the polycrystalline La 0 . 6 7 Sr 0 . 3 3 Mn 0 . 9 9 5 7 Fe 0 . 0 1 O 3 powder has been prepared by a water-based sol-gel method. Crystalline La 0 . 6 7 Sr 0 . 3 3 Mn 0 . 9 9 5 7 Fe 0 . 0 1 O 3 was a rombohedral structure with lattice parameters a 0 =5.480Å, α=60.259 o . Mossbauer spectra of La 0 . 6 7 Sr 0 . 3 3 Mn 0 . 9 9 5 7 Fe 0 . 0 1 O 3 have been taken at various temperatures ranging from 20 to 400K. Analysis of 5 7 Fe Mossbauer spectrum has considered anisotropic hyperfine field fluctuation. Temperature dependence of anisotropy energy is calculated from the relaxation rate.
