The measuring efficiency 6 LiD converter results of thermal to fast neutrons of (DT), ( 6 LiT) fusion reactions with energy E~14MeV in IVV-2M reactor experimental channel (SB RDIPE, Zarechny) are presented. For the first time there has been obtained an experimental estimation of conversion factors K D 2.11x10 - 4 , K L i 1.36x10 - 4 , at the expense of the above fusion reactions, respectively. The full value of conversion factor K 3.47x10 - 4 found in this experiment is ~1.7 times greater than the measured earlier value of the same quantity and approximately 20% higher than the maximum theoretical estimate of K for the 6 LiD converter. It is shown that the experimental device with 6 LiD converter in the IVV-2M reactor channel is a practicable, comparatively cheap and, for today, unique source of ~14MeV neutrons, capable of providing continuous and almost uniform irradiation of samples ~⌀ 4cmx20cm in size with a neutron flux of (DT), ( 6 LiT) fusion φ 2.7x10 1 4 nm - 2 s - 1 during a comparatively long time period (~500h). The possible fields of such source application are the following investigation of irradiation effects on materials for fusion reactors, generation of neutron-deficient isotopes with positron radioactivity for diagnostic applications and activation analysis.
