The speed of sound in liquid 1-hexadecene has been measured using pulse-echo-overlap technique operating at 3MHz with an inaccuracy not exceeding 0.1%. The fitted experimental results, obtained at temperatures from 303.15 to 433.15K and pressures from 0.1 to 100MPa, together with literature data on density and isobaric heat capacity at atmospheric pressure, have been used to calculate the thermodynamic properties in the same range of parameters. Detailed tables, which contain values of density, isobaric and isochoric heat capacities, isothermal compressibility, isobaric expansion coefficient, enthalpy and entropy, are given. The presented properties at elevated pressures have been obtained for the first time.
