En 2009, en France, ce sont 1047 personnes qui ont bénéficié d’une transplantation de foie. Cette technique de soin, bien que de plus en plus efficace, constitue un événement majeur dans la vie des patients transplantés et de leurs proches. De nombreuses manifestations émotionnelles sont observées, tels des troubles anxieux, dépressifs ou encore alexithymiques. Nous avons donc étudié l’impact de la transplantation sur l’état psychologique des personnes transplantées hépatiques et de leurs proches.Notre recueil de données s’est effectué auprès des membres de l’association TransHepate : 73 patients et 50 proches ont participé à l’étude.Les résultats montrent des manifestations anxieuses et une alexithymie touchant près d’un tiers des proches. Ces derniers souffrent davantage de ces perturbations que les personnes transplantées.La transplantation hépatique provoque des retentissements émotionnels auprès des bénéficiaires. Un accompagnement psychologique peut s’avérer favorable au bien-être mental des patients et de leurs proches.
In 2009, in France, 1047 have benefited of hepatic transplantation. Even if this treatment is more and more effective, it is a major event in patients’ and their relatives’ lives. Many emotional troubles have been observed such as anxiety, depression or alexithymia. So, we have studied the transplantation impact on the psychological state of hepatic transplantation recipients and their relatives.Our data anthology has been done with the TransHepate members: 73 patients and 50 relatives participated.Our results show anxiety and alexithymia for about a third of relatives. These one suffer more that transplanted recipients.Hepatic transplantation includes many emotional disturbances in recipients. A psychological follow-up may be positive for the mental well being of patients and their relatives.
