NT2N cells, which are differentiated from human teratocarcima cell line, had the voltage-dependent Na + channels. In addition, the glutamate receptors such as NMDA and AMPA/kainate receptors and the GABAA receptors were expressed in NT2N cells. We assessed the properties of these receptor channels using whole-cell voltage-clamp and single channel recording.
