A novel family of berylloborophosphates, M I BeBPO (M I = K + , Na + and NH 4 + ) with the zeolite analcime (ANA) framework topology has been hydrothermally synthesized by using monovalent cations as the templates. The structure of KBeBP 2 O 8 .1/3H 2 O (K-BBP-ANA) was solved by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and crystal data for K-BBP-ANA are: M=254.19, cubic, space group: P2 1 3, a=12.427(6) Å, V=1919.0(17) Å 3 , Z=12, R 1 =0.0768, Rw=0.1842. The compound is the first BeBPO 4 phase with zeolite-ANA structure, which is built of corner-sharing BeO 4 , BO 4 , and PO 4 tetrahedra. K-BBP-ANA has three-dimensional distorted eight-ring channels along the crystallographic [100], [010] and [001] directions. The framework charges of BBP-ANA are balanced by the monovalent cations in the channel. The X-ray powder diffraction patterns show the family of M I BeBPO (M I =K + , Na + and NH 4 + ) are isostructural and their framework structures are thermally stable up to 800 o C.
