Aimed at developing new Fe-based bulk metallic glasses (BMGs) with high saturation magnetization (J s ), a new series of Fe-based BMG have been developed by fluxing treatment and J-quenching techniques. Among these Fe-based BMGs, (Fe 90 Co 10 ) 82 P 6 C 7 B 3 Si 2 BMG with the diameter 1.0mm has been prepared and exhibited a very high J s of 1.65T (176emug −1 ), which is the largest reported for Fe-based BMG so far. Additionally, the compositional dependence of glass formation ability and the magnetic properties has been discussed.
