Superlattices of Er 100-x Tb x /Y (x = 3.5) have been grown on Niobium buffer layers using molecular-beam-epitaxy method to investigate the magnetic properties of Er-Tb alloy layers. The temperature dependence of magnetization was measured using a SQUID magnetometer. A marked difference in the magnetization is found between the superlattices with thicknesses of 35 and 105 . The result is discussed in conjunction with the spin structure determined by neutron scattering studies.
