The Applicant Review is a 102-item pre-employment screening test designed to measure honesty and aggressive tendencies. The test, first developed in 1983, combines seven sub-scales to form an honesty score that controls for the effects of faking and social desirability response bias. Statistical analyses have demonstrated acceptable levels of reliability and validity and experience indicates that it is a useful selection instrument for hiring honest employees and creating a climate of honesty.
