Systemic allergic reactions to prick-tests are exceptional. This risk is proportional to the amount of allergen administered and is correlated with the severity of the initial accident. We describe a case of generalized urticaria induced by amoxicillin skin prick-test, in which a battery of skin prick-tests to 17 beta-lactam antibiotics could be performed with an excellent tolerance using highly diluted beta-lactam prick solutions.
