L’héparine est un des plus vieux médicaments encore sur le marché. Utilisée massivement pour la prévention et le traitement des maladies thromboemboliques, ses effets secondaires sont bien connus. Les réactions allergiques sont rares (0,2 %), en particulier les hypersensibilités immédiates qui sont exceptionnelles. Nous rapportons un cas d’allergie immédiate à la nadroparine. Les moyens diagnostiques, l’intérêt potentiel du test d’activation des basophiles, les réactions croisées et les alternatives thérapeutiques sont discutés.
Heparin is one of the oldest drugs on the market. Widely used for the prevention and treatment of thromboembolic diseases, its adverse effects are well-known. Allergic reactions are rare (0.2%), especially immediate hypersensitivity reactions, which are exceptional. We report a case of an immediate allergic reaction to nadroparine. We discuss diagnostic methods, the potential interest in the basophile activation test, cross-reactivity and therapeutic alternatives.
