W dwuletnich doświadczeniach wazonowych przeanalizowano zakres i kierunek zmian w zawartości i pobraniu żelaza przez rzepak i pszenicę w warunkach nawożenia roślin różnymi formami azotu i potasu. Do założenia eksperymentu wykorzystano materiał glebowy pobrany z warstwy ornej gleby bielicowej o składzie granulometrycznym piasku gliniastego lekkiego.
A two-year pot experiment was aimed at examining the range and direction of changes in iron content and uptake by rape and wheat under the conditions of plant fertilization with various forms of nitrogen and potassium. The experiment was set up using soil material taken from the arable layer of podzolic soil with granulometric composition of light loamy sand. The soil was characterized by a low content of available phosphorus, potassium and sulphate sulphur and by a very low content of available magnesium. The research proved that rape was characterized by a higher content and uptake of iron as compared to wheat. Most of this microelement was accumulated in the plant straw. Nitrogen fertilization in the ammonium form and potassium in chloride form resulted in an increase in the content of iron in plants. In rape the highest uptake of iron was recorded in objects fertilized with potassium in the chloride form, for wheat in the series fertilized with the sulphate form of this element.
