This article is an attempt at developing a model of knowledge management for a tertiary education institution. Three models shall be analysed here: the resource model, the Knowledge Spiral and the process model. Among the necessary conditions for these models to function there are noncompetitive cooperation, suitable motivation of employees to gain, process, share and apply knowledge.
