W pracy opisano stanowisko do prowadzenia badań nad możliwością wykorzystania technik rzeczywistości wirtualnej do wykonywania zdalnej pracy inspekcyjnym robotem mobilnym.
This paper describes the station to conduct research on the use of virtual reality techniques to perform the inspection work using remote mobile robot. Thesystem consists of an human-robot interfaceand a functional model of remote controlled mobile inspection robot. The main control interface consist of head-mounted display (HMD) and data glove. The whole is supplemented by a motion tracking system for measuring HMD rotation and position of info-glove and shoulder, joystick and PC along with the required software. In order to compare different control interfaces an alternative system based on the LCD screen and joystick was prepared. Another element of the system is a functional model of a mobile inspection robot, equipped with a manipulator ended with gripper and a rotatable set of cameras. This robot is used to perform task such as movement and navigation in an environment full of obstacles, finding objects and manipulating them. With its help, testing will carried out,the results of which will allow for qualitative and quantitative comparison of different remote control interfaces, in particular, determine the effect of interface structure on the efficiency of the operator remotely controlled mobile inspection robot.
