Wykorzystano model Biota—Gassmanna oraz pomiary i wyniki interpretacji ilościowej geofizyki otworowej i obliczono prędkości fal podłużnych i poprzecznych (Vp i Vs), moduły sprężystości i współczynniki Poissona w mioceńskich utworach dla wybranego złoża gazu. W testowym otworze K-16 wykonano dodatkowo serię obliczeń parametrów sprężystych w poziomach piaskowców i mułowców, przy założeniu zmieniających się nasyceń wodą i gazem, stosując program Estymacja i metodę podobną do tzw. fluid substitution. Zakładano zmiany Sw=100% (SG=O%) aż do Sw=O% (SG=100%).
The Theoretical Model of Biot—Gassmann and results of measurements and integral interpretations of well logging data were made for calculating of velocities of compressional and shear waves and other elastic parameters in Miocene gas reservoir. A series of calculations with the use of a method similar to so-called fluid substitution was also performed. The method consists in substituting reservoir fluids with saturation degree from Sw=1.0 (total water saturation) to Sw=0 (total gas saturation) in zones with different gas volume. A distinct minimum of VP is observed for water saturation Sw=0.8 (gas saturation SG=0.2). Lower values of VP can correspond to a case when the gas-bearing horizon there is at a small depth and the pore pressure is low. The cross-plots based on the λ vs. RHOB, λ vs. PHI, NI vs. PHI and VP vs. PHI allow to identify lithology gas and water saturating zones. Synthetic seismograms for simulated different water- and gas-saturations which correspond to a sandstone horizon were calculated. The seismograms were different for different gas saturation and for a boundary of water-bearing and shale horizons.
