Przedstawiono wyniki badania reaktywności jonu azotanowego w stężonych roztworach azotanu amonu (50% mas.), buforowanych wodorofosforanem amonu (15% mas.), w stosunku do substancji o zróżnicowanej budowie chemicznej. Badania przeprowadzono z wykorzystaniem skaningowej kalorymetrii różnicowej i fizykochemicznej analizy produktów reakcji. Stwierdzono stabilność termiczną buforowanego roztworu azotanu amonu do 295°C. Dodatek 5% mas. siarczanu hydroksyloaminy powodował wyraźne obniżenie temperatury rozkładu azotanu amonu (ze 140°C do 85°C) bez udziału jonu azotanowego, co potwierdzono analizą spektrofotometryczną. Dodatek 3% mas. glukozy prowadził prawdopodobnie do utlenienia grupy aldehydowej i grup hydroksylowych z wytworzeniem węgla pierwiastkowego. Zostało to potwierdzone badaniem NMR 13C. Temperatura początku reakcji (TONSET) wynosiła 165°C. Analiza chromatograficzna i spektrometria mas nie wykazały w tym przypadku obecności podtlenku azotu w gazowych produktach reakcji.
Concd. solns. of NH4NO3 (50% by mass), buffered with (NH4)2HPO4 (15% by mass), were studied by differential scanning calorimetry and physicochem. anal. of the reaction products in the presence of (NH3OH)2SO4 (5% by mass) or glucose (3% by mass). The buffered soln. of NH4NO3 was stable up to 295°C. The addn. of (NH3OH)2SO4 resulted in a significant decrease in its decompn. temp. (from 140°C to 85°C) without any decompn. of nitrate ions. The addn. of glucose resulted in oxidn. of the carbonyl and OH groups with formation of elemental C. Temp. of the reaction beginning was 165°C. Chromatog. anal. and mass spectrometry did not show any presence of N2O in the gaseous reaction products.
