Odpady hutnictwa metali nieżelaznych stanowią źródło metali transferowanych do środowiska. Cd, As, Tl).
Non-ferrous metallurgy wastes are an important outlet of elements to environment. Slags and dust produced in technological process of Zinc Plant "Miasteczko Śląskie" S.A., contain main metals (Zn, Pb) and many accompanying elements which often are characterized by high toxicity (for ехатріе Cd, As, Tl). In hypergenic environment these elements тау be in the form of stable and unstable. Environmental conditions and forms of occurence of elements decide about metals stability and mobility. On the basis of laboratory and modeling studies was found that anlaysed elements (As, Tl, Cd, Sb i Cu) and their chemical compounds, occurence in ISP process's slags and dust are unstable in ground-water environment and mау be an potential threat.
