As the interest in passive buildings technology increases, the interest in air quality in this type of buildings increases. Air quality in the building depends among others on the way air distribution in the building, quality of external air and the way rooms usage. The microbiological contamination of indoor air in the experimental facility of Poznan University of Technology (Passive house DoPas PP) was evaluated. The general count of mesophilic and psychrophilic bacteria, the count of staphylococcus (Staphylococcus), the count of Pseudomonas fluorescens bacteria, as well as the general count of microscopic fungi were measured. The results with the existing regulations were compared. The obtained results with the measurements carried out in the singlefamily building being operated with natural ventilation were compared.
