Ventilated façades are becoming an increasingly popular solution for external walls in the construction. Unfortunately, in some aspects they are not yet well standardized and tested. The main safety problem of ventilated façade is the possible falling off of claddings parts under the influence of fire. Unfortunately, legislation does not provide the types of tests and assessment of these components. For the purposes of this paper, experimental tests have been conducted using a façade model in the natural scale, with two types of external claddings. The materials used as external cladding were fibre cement boards and big slab ceramic tiles. The façade model was equipped with thermocouples. Cladding materials showed different behaviour during the test.
