In paper the wire drawing processes was investigated in two levels - steady-state solve using the 2-dimensional rigid-plastic finite element method (macro-level) and modeling of a microstructure change (micro-level). In macro level the joint deformation-temperature problem was considered. It was shown that the model based on the theory of the flow of rigid-plastic continuum allows calculating drawing force with good accuracy and reacting properly on changes of die angle as well as predicting the break-up of wire on the exit from die. Data transfer of all components of tensor deformations from pass to pass makes possible modeling and optimize drawing process, when the drawing direction is changed. In micro-level the process of deformation of representative volume element – RVE was considered. The grain deformation and orientation of cementite lamellas change in RVE was modeled with help of a FEM. The micro-level model to finite element program Drawing2d was implemented. The experimental data of microstructure and orientation of cementite lamellas change was compared with results of a simulations.
Na poziomie mikro rozpatrzono proces odkształcenia reprezentatywnego objętościowo elementu (ROE). z Stosując metodę elementów skończonych modelowano odkształcenie kolonii perlitu i zmiany ułożenia płytek cementytu. Model otrzymany na poziomie mikro został zaimplementowany do programu Drawing2D symulującego proces ciągnienia.
