Przedstawiono problemy samooczyszczania przewodów kanalizacyjnych małych średnic. Wykazano, że najważniejsze są konsekwencje spadku strumienia objętości ścieków przy równoczesnym wzroście ich koncentracji. Wymaga to zmiany definicji warunków samooczyszczania. Przy projektowaniu należy korzystać z krytycznej wartości naprężenia ścinającego. Minimalne wartości spadku są znacznie większe niż tradycyjnie wyznaczane z formuły DIN: i = 1/D.
Existing questions of the small sewers self-cleaning conditions are presented. It was shown the consequences of the wastes quantity reduction as well as of the wastes concentration increase to be the main question here. These factors need of change of the self-cleaning conditions definition. The critical value of the resolved shear stress should been used as the base of designing. Minimal values of the slope are much more higher than traditional determined (base of formula DIN: i = 1/D).
