Praca nawiązuje do wystąpienia na III Krajowej Konferencji "Nowe Materiały - Nowe Technologie w Przemyśle Okrętowym i Maszyn" w roku 2006. Przedstawiono wtedy problematykę budowy strukturalnej i wybranych własności stali Hardox 400 i Hardox 500. Rozszerzono asortyment materiałów o zbliżonych składach chemicznych, strukturach i własnościach o stale z grupy ???, AR, Armotec, Armax i innych.
The paper is related to the presentation during III Domestic Conference " New Materials - New Technologies in Shipyards and Machine Industry " in the year 2006. The problems concerning structures and selected properties of steels Hardox 400 and Hardox 500 were presented in this time. Assortment of investigated materials, like steels belonging to the group ???, AR, Armotec and Armax, was extended. Program of fractography, abrasion resistance and welded joints researches was expanded. Observations of structures of materials different to theHardox400 and Hardox 500 steels were also performed. The steels belonging to these group are applied mainly in machine, shipyards and armour industry. In Poland they are classified like low alloyed martensitic steels or structural steels with raised abrasion resistance.
