W pracy przedstawiono metodykę pomiarów parametrów powietrza w układzie dolotowym turbodoładowanego silnika o zapłonie samoczynnym SW680. Opisano technikę pomiaru chwilowego przepływu powietrza, ciśnienia w kanale i kolektorze dolotowym oraz pomiaru prędkości obrotowej turbosprężarki. Przedstawiono wyniki pomiarów tych parametrów w silniku SW680 pracującym w stanach ustalonych i nieustalonych.
Optimisation of the steering system of the diesel engine, which is equipped with electronic governor, needs the acquaintance of air supply parameters. It is very important when the engine has turbocharger system. Measurements of these parameters need adaptation specific transducers and measurements system. The main aim of the work presented in this paper is adoption the diesel engine and their systems for measurements the parameters in inlet system in steady and unsteady conditions, including pressure and temperature inside inlet duct, air mass flow and speed of the turbocharger. The mass flow parameters were measured by using Venturi tube with strain gauge transducer for measurements of pressure difference. The parameters of the tube were well chosen to accord standard PN-93/M-53950/01. The turbocharger measurements speed was worked our by special method out. Was used a lasers lighting and light detector. The mirror was made on the wall of the hexagon nut of the compressor shaft. The pressures inside inlet duct were measured in two points, opposite two and five cylinders. Investigations of the engine were made in steady condition (versus speed and load) and unsteady conditions. There measured following changes: the pressure of the air in inlet tube, compression ratio mass airflow and speed of the turbocharger. The air pressure changed in range: 0,01 0,1: compression ratio was the highest in maximum load and engines speed - 2,1, mass air flow achieved 20 kg/ s speed of the compressor exceeded 70 000 rpm. All measurements system worked efficiently and result of this measurement will be used in design of the algorithm of the steering system for this engine.
