Stanowi to podstawę do dalszej optymalizacji procesu wyznaczania parametrów. Badając kompleks parametrów opisujący model dystorsji radialnej, znaleziono parametryzację wykorzystującą specjalne wielomiany ortogonalne do likwidacji zjawiska wysokiej korelacji parametrów dystorsji.
The progress in technological development and the slump in prices of amateur digital photographic cameras determine the reasons why specialists in short-range photogrammetry are interested in digital technology. As in the case of analogue camera, photogrammetric processing of a digital picture requires the camera and the photograph parameters to be known or determined through a calibration procedure. In the paper, the new parametric model for an amateur, non-metric, digital camera was presented. The authors kept equivalence of the proposed model with the widely used 11-parameter DLT model (Direct Linear Transformation). To determine the five parameters common for each photo one can use the field calibration technique. This allows reduction of the number of parameters in the process of self-calibration as well as search for independent parameters, which is the basis for further optimisation of the process of parameters' determination. The work also includes the analysis of a set of parameters that describe the model of radial distortion. The most common set demonstrates the high correlation of its parameters. The author succeeded to find the new parametric model using special orthogonal polynomials that eliminates the negative phenomenon of high correlation of the distortion.
