Magnetic shielding effectiveness of grain oriented electrical steel was studied at 0.01-100 kHz magnetic fields. The frequency dependent effectiveness was clarified as to material anisotropy of <100> and <110> in circumferential direction of cylindrical shields. The effectiveness showed the difference over 50kHz between the shields of <100> and <110> before and after stree-relief annnealing.3D FEM analysis suggested eddy current distribution affects the shielding effectiveness at higher frequency.
