Artykuł podejmuje temat kosztów w żegludze śródlądowej, które stanowią podstawę naliczania opłat od użytkowników dróg wodnych. Podawana jest współczesna klasyfikacja kosztów transportu. Przedstawiona została struktura kosztów własnych i społecznych w żegludze śródlądowej. Następnie artykuł wyjaśnia pojęcie kosztów krańcowych i podaje uproszczoną metodykę ich wyliczania w żegludze śródlądowej. Podany schemat może być wykorzystany do obliczeń zarówno kosztów infrastruktury jak i kosztów zewnętrznych, tzn. wypadków, zanieczyszczeń, hałasu i kongestii. The article discusses the costs of inland waterways, which form the basis for charging users of the waterways. The contemporary classification of transport costs is given. The structure of private and social costs in inland shipping is clarified. The article then explains the concept of marginal costs in the inland shipping and provides a simplified methodology to calculate them. It is given the scheme, which can be used to calculate both the infrastructure and external costs, i.e. accidents, pollution, noise and congestion costs. The article ends with conclusions regarding the variability of the costs and specifics of the Polish market.
