W artykule przedstawiono stan wybranych elementów infrastruktury transportowej w Polsce z uwzględnieniem analizy porównawczej w przekroju województw. Wykorzystano dane Banku Danych Lokalnych GUS. Zakres czasowy analizy obejmuje lata 1999-2009. Szczególnie dużo uwagi poświęcono charakterystyce infrastruktury drogowej i kolejowej, co pozwoliło określić dostępność transportową województw. Najwyższa dostępność transportowa w 2010 roku cechuje sześć województw: dolnośląskie, wielkopolskie, mazowieckie, śląskie, lubuskie i zachodniopomorskie.
The article presents the state of selected elements of transport infrastructure in Poland. In the paper a comparatiye analy-sis of regions was performed. There was used Local Data Bank prepared by CSO. The analysis covers the years 1999-2009. The particular attention was paid to the characteristics of road and rail infrastructure. It allowed to determine the transport availability of Polish voivod-ships. The highest transport availability in 2010 is typical for six voivodships: Dolnośląskie, Wielkopolskie, Mazowieckie, Śląskie, Lubuskie and Zachodniopomorskie. Invariably in the years 2006-2010 the Iowest transport availability concerns eastern Poland regions: Podlaskie, Lubelskie, Podkarpackie and Warmińsko-Mazurskie. Taking into account Świętokrzyskie (next in the order of weakest), you can conclude that the Iowest transport availability also features Eastern Poland by OP DEP.
